Capturing a woman in one of her most private states is an art form that does not only bring out her beauty, but her inner essence. The art of boudoir photography seizes this moment in time. The exquisiteness of a woman’s silhouette has enticed men to embark on journey’s to conquer new worlds, wage war against one another, and has made the most stalwart of men kneel at her very presence. What causes this transformation in men?

Beyond the metropolises, industrial and major cities of America lies Small Town America. Long have we forgotten its beauty. You know a small town because time slowly moves through the day, stoplights discontinue to work after 10 PM and the synonymous blinking red stoplight starts to illuminate the four way stop after the hour.

When I was approached to do this shoot I had several ideas of making it. I could do the traditional bride and groom shoot where every shot resembles love and prosperity amongst newlyweds, fairly easy to do, but nahhh. We all decided that we would change it up a little and show the range of emotions that couples experience while being married. The reason why….. the divorce rate in America is horrifying. When searching online many of us usually look for fancy traditional hotels or hotels that have the trendy contemporary vibe in décor. What we tend to miss are the little gems, the bed and breakfasts of America that are hidden in the local neighborhoods or just outside our major cities.
